Welcome to Claude Watson School for the Arts Web Page. The Claude Watson School for the Arts is truly an amazing place. We are a unique school. There is no other school like this within the Toronto District School Board, Ontario, or Canada.
The school provides an excellent academic and arts education to children in grades four to eight in dance, drama, music and visual arts. Students are selected to attend the school through an application process.
The school is a busy place. On top of the day to day activities of learning the Ministry of Education's curriculum, the students are involved in a number of clubs, teams, bands, orchestras and performances. Our students have traveled all over the world performing for people and have won many performance awards. The school has a number of exciting extra curricular groups including String Orchestra, Concert Winds, Orff, Drama Clubs, Dance Ensembles, Environmental Clubs, sports teams, and Open Visual Arts Studio.
The students and staff at the Claude Watson School for the Arts are incredible people. The students have a large amount of energy and are strongly committed to the arts. The staff is made up of very talented teachers and artists who strive for excellence in everything that they do for the students.
